A man was arrested after Phoenix police responded to reports of shots fired at a home near 19th Avenue and Washington Monday afternoon.
Police said at around 2 p.m. officers responded to a report of a caller who was inside of the home when the suspect shot a gun while arguing with the caller.
Officers arrived at the scene and removed the caller and a young child who were inside the home, according to police.
The suspect had left the home but was later located in another home near 20th Avenue and Adams Street.
The suspect was arrested and police confirmed that no injuries were reported.
No additional suspects were found.
The incident remains under investigation.
