This Friday, we're looking for your help to track down a fugitive in our state.

Wanted: Scotland Michael Delarosa
Charges: Probation violation on original charge of attempted sexual assault

On Aug. 19, 2006, a "developmentally disabled and vulnerable adult" was walking along a row of trees to her Buckeye apartment when Scotland Michael Delarosa tried to kiss her and asked her repeatedly to have sex with him.

During their conversation, he led the woman away from the apartment complex and continued to ask for sex. The woman repeatedly denied him, but at one point Delarosa knocked her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

He then fled the area with her purse.

Delarosa was caught and entered a plea deal in June 2013. He served five years in prison on kidnapping and attempted sexual assault convictions.

He was released from prison on Sept. 29, 2016.

During his probation time, he sought employment at locations that cater to minors and vulnerable adults.

Officials say Delarosa, "does not consider himself a sex offender and has refused to participate in sex offender treatment." They believe he "poses a significant risk to the community and is likely to re-offend."

Description:

Delarosa is 27 years old, 5' 8” and 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has various tattoos such as "R.I.P. Jesse" on his right shoulder and "Boston" on his neck.
