A man sends threatening texts, then sets a woman's home on fire twice in one night.

Court records report that on Dec. 10, a woman returned to her home near Arizona Avenue and Frye Road and found her living room carpet smoldering.

She put the fire out, and police said a few moments later someone came by and threw a sweatshirt lit on fire through a bedroom window.

The women put out that fire as well and contacted police. She reportedly informed them about some threatening text messages she got that night from 35-year-old Willie Deondray Wright.

In the messages, Wright allegedly wrote that she, "owed him something and he was going to get his and that he always wins."

Police found Wright and pulled him over in the area. They say he smelled strongly of gas and was bleeding from the hand. Police report that the sweatshirt had an accelerant on it. They also found a water bottle of gasoline in the home along with blood on the window and a light switch in the home.

The woman and her daughter were uninjured in the incidents.

Wright has been charged with arson endangerment.
