The Greenlee County Health Department has updated the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday evening. The new number of confirmed cases now sits a zero.

Greenlee is Arizona’s least populated county with an estimated 10,375 Arizonans calling it home, according to population figures released by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

The county was the last in Arizona to report at least one COVID-19 infection to the Arizona Department of Health Services, officially reporting its first case on March 30.

Since then, the county has peaked at 58 cases and two deaths. During this time, Greenlee County retained the lowest infection rate per capita in the state.
