Salaries earned by officials at the Valley's colleges and universities saw a slight drop in average compensation last year, in large part because of one high-profile dismissal.
Three of this year's group of highest-paid officials topped $2 million, despite the dip in overall compensation for 2018.
The 25 highest-paid college and university employees on this list combined to earn $21,466,422, an average of $858,657.
That's down slightly from the $22,027,163 total for last year's list, an average of $881,087.
