Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. has added another new C-suite executive, the latest in a number of new top hires and board members since the company hired a new CEO in June 2019.
Effective Tuesday, Gil Phipps will serve as Sprouts' chief marketing officer and senior vice president.
Phipps will report directly to Sprouts CEO Jack Sinclair and oversee the Phoenix-based grocer’s marketing, advertising, customer engagement and private label teams.
Phipps has been working in the grocery industry for more than 20 years, most recently coming fromCincinnati-based Kroger Co., the parent company of Arizona’s Fry’s Food Stores.
