Koi Poke, a Valley-based poke bowl restaurant concept, sold six of its seven locations to a private equity group headed by former Major League Baseball pitcher Todd Stottlemyre.

The restaurant chain said in October that Stottlemyre, who pitched for a number of teams including the Arizona Diamondbacks, was going to lead the company’s franchising effort.

Now his group will buy all but one location and will also be the exclusive franchiser for all future locations across North America.

Two of the locations Stottlemyre purchased – at Park West in Peoria and the Shops at Norterra in Phoenix – have not yet opened yet.
