The city of Peoria is preparing for a phased rollout of city services, with employees returning to work this week to prepare for the reopening of City Hall and other facilities on May 18.
In her latest proclamation under the city's prior declaration of emergency, Peoria Mayor Cathy Carlat said the rollout will follow federal and state health services guidelines and will be conducted in three phases.
City public meetings will continue remotely, and customer service will continue online and on the phone.
The city park open play areas, tennis courts, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, dog parks, the skate park, playgrounds and restrooms will open for groups of less than 10 on Saturday, May 16.
