Stationery retailer Papyrus will close all four of its Arizona locations in the wake of a bankruptcy filing by its parent company.
Papyrus, which is run by Goodlettsville, Tennessee-based Schurman Fine Papers, has 254 retail stores and sister outlets around the country, including two in Scottsdale, one in Phoenix and one in Tucson.
Schurman Fine Papers, the parent company of American Greetings, Carlton Cards and Paper Destiny, as well as the Papyrus stores, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Jan. 23.
The company said it expects to close all stores across all of its brands by the end of February.
