PHOENIX — Valley Leadership is celebrating its 41st year in 2019 with a new class of leaders for its flagship Institute program, which aims again to educate them to be the next in line to help the region.
The regional program chose 50 local professionals for its nine-month course on the inner workings of the Phoenix area.
Events consist of one to two program days per month culminating in a May 2020 graduation. The cohort includes nonprofit executives, small business owners, public officials and servants.
The program is designed to challenge participants to find ways to make a difference in the community. It has more than 3,000 alumni since its founding.
