SCOTTSDALE, AZ — There’s a big buzz — or rather hum — around the 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera, which debuts Tuesday at an invite-only affair in a posh Seattle-area winery property.

The new Porsche can be custom designed at six flagship stores in the U.S., including Porsche North Scottsdale in the Valley; Newport Beach, California; Bellevue, Washington; Manhattan, New York; Ft Lauderdale, Florida, and Atlanta.

In a region where luxury cars are plentiful, the Porsche 911 dominates a segment that includes the Audi R8, the BMW 6 series, the Jaguar XK, and the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT and SL, according to Porsche Bellevue Dealer Principal and General Manager Kjell Schei.

Schei already has advance orders for about 40 of these new Porsche models, which carry an average price of $140,000. Sales at his dealership are up 26 percent year over year.
