Eight Arizona companies are included on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index — and three of those companies came in with perfect scores — in a measurement of LGBTQ inclusive business practices.
The HRC Corporate Equality Index is an annual assessment of how well companies around the country rank for LGBTQ equality in employee hiring and support.
Three Valley businesses, GoDaddy Inc., law firm Snell & Wilmer and the University of Phoenix, an online education company, earned a 100% score and the distinction of being a “best place to work for LGBTQ equality.”
According to the HRC, employers earn top ratings by showing they take concrete steps to ensure greater equity for LGBTQ worker and their families through comprehensive human resources policies, benefits and practices.”
