Cascades Inc., a Canadian paper products manufacturer, will shutter a tissue conversion plant in Kingman, Arizona, as part of a companywide strategy to improve profitability and move work to more efficient sites.
Kingman is in northwest Arizona near the Nevada border.
Quebec-based Cascades said the Arizona plant would remain in operation until its lease expires in October 2020.
In addition, the company said it would close its tissue conversion plant in Waterford, N.Y. in March 2020.
