Another European airline set to fly nonstop to Phoenix

PHOENIX — Eurowings, a low-cost airline owned by the Lufthansa Group, will start offering nonstop service between Frankfurt, Germany, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in April 2020.

The airline and the airport announced the service Wednesday, adding another direct flight to Europe from Phoenix.

The Eurowings Phoenix-to-Frankfurt flight will operate five days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday – on a seasonal basis, running April 29 to November.

Eurowings will use an Airbus 330-200 aircraft for the route. The jet will have a capacity of 270 passengers, with 22 in business class, 17 in premium and 231 in economy.
