Two men in Louisiana were taken into custody after a wild police pursuit during which a suspect bailed from the moving car.
St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office posted video on Facebook Wednesday showing deputies attempting to make a traffic stop after a vehicle was stolen.
The driver reportedly failed to stop and during the pursuit and crashed into a patrol unit.
When the vehicle approached a busy intersection, video shows the occupant bailing from the car and then running into traffic, almost getting hit by multiple cars.
Officials say Dayshawn Brown, 34, and Allen Davenport, 33, both convicted felons from New Orleans, were arrested after the pursuit.
Both suspects and the driver of another vehicle were treated for injuries. No officers were injured.
