You don't have to scour the restaurant scene to find the best of the best eats in Phoenix. We have the answer right here.

Culinary Dropout Tempe and SumoMaya Mexican-Asian Kitchen in Scottsdale made OpenTable's "100 Hottest Restaurants in America" for 2016.

Culinary Dropout prides itself in being the misfits of the restaurant world. Its website boasts "some of the most creative cocktails" made by mohawk-wearing mixologists. The gastropub is located on South Farmer Avenue at Farmer Arts District near South Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway.

SumoMaya Mexican-Asian Kitchen is a tapas-style restaurant on North Scottsdale Road, near East Lincoln Drive, that serves Latin American and Far East-inspired food. It has a friendly ambience with bold bright colors.

OpenTable is a company that partners with restaurants to facilitate online reservations. According to a news release, the "100 Hottest Restaurants" list is generated from information compiled from more than 5 million restaurant reviews between March 1, 2015, and February 29, 2016. They aren't ranked 1 to 100, but rather listed alphabetically.
