ShinBay, TQLA among recently shuttered Valley restaurants

A popular Scottsdale Japanese restaurant that offered a multi-course prix fixe menu has closed its doors.
 
ShinBay located near Scottsdale and Indian Bend roads opened in 2011.  It received several local and national accolades, including Open Table's top 100 restaurants in the country for four straight years.  The eatery was known for its authentic cuisine and fresh sushi.
 
A statement on the company's website reads:
We are sorry to announce that we closed our business.  We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our guests for dining with us.
