Fry's Food Stores along with Chicanos Por La Causa and the Cartwright School District are holding a hiring event on Thursday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cartwright School District's Training Center. All three organizations will be hiring for a variety of positions. Fry's alone is hiring for more than 1,000 full and part-time positions statewide, all-purpose clerks, pharmacy techs, department managers and more. How does a 70k + salary sound? That's how much some of the positions up for grabs at a career fair scheduled for July 19 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites Biltmore. Many of the companies offer company cars or gas allowances, a flexible work schedule and full benefits. The job fair is free, but self-parking is $10.

State Farm is hosting a career fair to recruit and hire for multiple opportunities in Tempe. It is Tuesday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Mesa Hotel. They are filling jobs in customer-service, call-center, claims, information technology, underwriting and sales-based support functions.
