GILBERT, Ariz. — Desert Sky Park in Gilbert is set to officially open to the public on Nov. 6th. This park is extra special because it is centered around fitness.

The events will start at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 until 8:30 p.m. The park is located at Power & Williams Field Roads in Gilbert. There will even be a Phoenix native, American Ninja Warrior there too!

“Attendees who conquer the course will receive a commemorative dog tag necklace, declaring them a Desert Sky Warrior. They will also have the opportunity to meet Adam Rayl, a four-time national finalist on NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior”, who will be on hand as we unveil the fitness playground, which is the first of its kind for Gilbert.”

The park will have four fields, a fitness course, a lake and restrooms but this doesn’t mean the work is complete! There are still other phases of development, but it’s a good start. You can signup to receive email updates for the latest information on the park’s development here.

Desert Sky Park is located at 6624 S. Power Road, and for more information on the park visit gilbertaz.gov.
