GILBERT – The town of Gilbert is bringing the autumn season with their first-ever Oktoberfest featuring delicious bratwursts, Bavarian-inspired beer by local Arizona Breweries, traditional polka music, contests, and more!
The event will take place on Oct. 5 from 2-10 p.m. at the Gilbert Civic Center located at 50 E. Civic Center Dr. Here, guests will experience the traditions celebrated at this annual event in Bavaria. And no Oktoberfest is complete without a brat eating contest, stein holding competition, wiener dog race, and live music.
Guests can expect unique performances from local artists including Ken Levine’s Funkhaus Brass Band, The Black Moods and 2 Tone Lizard Kings.
Presale tickets are on sale now at gilbertoktoberfest.com for just $10 a person. Tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event for $20 a person and kids 12 and under will get in free.
Plus, it’s for a good cause! Part of the proceeds for the event will benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital – the most comprehensive children’s care facility in the state.
