There's no doubt that Simone Kelham is crazy about cats!
"I'd like to think I'm a good example of a crazy cat lady," she explains. "Just crazily passionate about saving kittens!"
And when she says she's passionate, she's not kidding! Her organization, Newborn Kitten Rescue, takes in at-risk kittens from the Arizona Humane Society --kittens that otherwise, may not have survived.
After Simone nurses them back to health, the kittens are returned to the Arizona Humane Society where they are later adopted it.
It's a 24/7 job for Simone; she feeds some of these felines every two hours, sacrificing her own sleep.
"I can't explain it any other way, other than it's my passion. It was my calling...I suppose I found my super power. That was it. Once you find something you're passionate about, it doesn't feel like work."
