Heidi Goitia is a two-time Emmy award-winning journalist, producer and current Co-Host of ABC15’s Sonoran Living.
Prior to this role, Heidi spent 10 years anchoring morning news here in the Valley for KTVK and KPHO. Heidi knew in middle school that she wanted to pursue a career in journalism and began to follow her dreams by earning a Broadcast Journalism degree from Northern Arizona University.
Heidi's pursuit of a career in television news started with a role as the evening anchor at Flagstaff station KNAZ. Her thirst for storytelling and desire to reach a larger audience led her to Phoenix, where she eagerly took on new roles and quickly worked her way up from associate producer to morning news anchor.
Her drive for excellence and passion to connect with her audience culminated in a 2020 Emmy for morning show anchor, and a second Emmy the following year for breaking news reporting. Heidi briefly stepped away from television in 2021 to be more available to her youngest child and is thrilled to be back doing what she loves, sharing the stories and businesses that make Arizona so special.
Heidi feels fortunate to have enjoyed a successful career in her home state.
