Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill has closed three of its restaurants in the Valley as part of a brand restructuring.

The Texas-based restaurant chain confirmed through a public relations firm Monday afternoon that its restaurants in Tempe, Phoenix and at Scottsdale's Fashion Square mall closed Sunday night due to poor performance.

The restaurant said it plans to focus on enhancing its menu and bolstering the brand at the remaining open Valley locations in Chandler and Paradise Valley.
