Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome have been tapped to headline a new two-day music festival in West Phoenix next spring.

The "Days on the Green" music festival will be a "large-scale celebration that will blend music, lifestyle and culture in one setting," according to a festival announcement. It will feature reggae, world, blues, and punk groups.

Other billed performers include Dirty Heads, Iration, Pepper, Tribal Seeds, Katastro, Common Kings, Fortunate Youth, Hirie, Pacific Dub, Bikini Trill, The Supervillains, and Tyrone's Jacket.

It will take place Friday and Saturday, April 19 & 20, 2019, at Fear Farm, 2209 N 99th Ave, in Phoenix.

“This new festival will allow us to provide local music fans an outlet to enjoy their favorite musicians in a unique environment," said Tom LaPenna, the event's founder, in a written statement.

Slightly Stoopid will perform on Friday, April 19. Sublime with Rome will perform on Saturday, April 20.

Local acts will be announced in the next few weeks, the news release said.

There will be two stages, a food court and vendor village. Gates will open at noon each day and music will run from 1 p.m. - 1 p.m.

General admission and VIP tickets go on sale on Friday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. It was not immediately clear how much tickets would be, as prices were not included in the news release or on the festival website, as of this writing.
