It appears that Stand Up, Scottsdale Comedy Club has had its last act.
"We are closed; [SIC] Thanks for being a fan...Check back Spring of '18" read a message posted Monday on the comedy club's website.
Howard Hughes opened the Scottsdale club in 2012.
We reached out to Hughes to learn more about the closing and the future of the space, but did not hear back in time for this story.
The club was featured on Spike TV's Bar Rescue where Hughes and host Jon Taffer went head-to-head. Taffer even named Hughes as one of his top 10 worst bar owners.
