The rain expected to hit the Valley this weekend forced another festival to postpone its plans.

Thursday afternoon organizers with the Scottsdale CrushBrew Festival announced that the festival had been postponed to March 4 and 5 because of the weekend forecast. It was originally scheduled for Feb. 18 and 19.

Earlier this week, the Arizona Diamondbacks rescheduled its Fan Fest to Monday, Feb. 20 because of the forecasted rain.

Organizers announced the news on Facebook with an iconic photo of Gene Kelley from the movie "Singin' in the Rain" with the words "Nobody wants to party in the rain. Well...except gene Kelly."

The festival will remain at the Scottsdale Waterfront. All tickets already sold for the event will be honored on the new dates.
