The Phoenix Suns dance team is looking for dancers for the 2018-2019 season and will hold prep classes and auditions in July.
Dancers will be judged on dance skills, public speaking, personality and professionalism, according to a news release.
Those looking to audition must be at least 18, a high school graduate or equivalent, be available for all Suns home games, and Tuesday/Thursday dance rehearsals.
Prep classes are $20 each and held at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix. They will be held on July 3, 12 and 18. More information.
Auditions will be held on July 21 at Talking Stick Resort (not the arena) in Scottsdale. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and auditions are scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
Dancers should wear form-fitting athletic clothing, sneakers or dance shoes with non-marking soles, and bring a resume and 8x10 headshot.
Training camp runs July 22-26. The final auditions will take place July 26 in front of a live audience at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe.
