A New York-based frozen dessert shop has opened in Arizona.
Popbar, founded in New York City in 2010, opened Thursday at Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale.
The store serves all of its frozen treats -- popGelato, popSorbetto and YogurtPops -- on a stick. There are more than 40 flavors that will rotate throughout the year, including chocolate, vanilla, watermelon, green tea and pumpkin pie, according to a news release.
The "pops" can be eaten as-is, dipped in chocolate or topped with sprinkles and other toppings.
Pricing varies between $3.49 - $3.99 per dessert. Unlimited toppings and dips are $0.50 each.
Each dessert is made in-house in batches of 26, according to Popbar's website.
For those with dietary restrictions, the popSorbettos are said to be vegan, dairy, gluten and soy-free.
The Arizona opening marks the twelfth location for Popbar in the United States. They have a dozen other locations internationally.
