PHOENIX — Goodbye, 2019. Hello, 2020!

From the Phoenix Zoo to TopGolf to downtown block parties, there are a lot of New Year's Eve events and celebrations happening around the Valley.

If you still need plans, here are more than 20 family-friendly or adults-only events around Phoenix.

NEW YEAR'S EVE FAMILY-FRIENDLY CELEBRATIONS

Noon Year’s Eve - Phoenix Zoo

The Phoenix Zoo will celebrate the “Noon Year” with a ball drop at noon with a cider or juice toast, snow, snowball targets, and a DJ dance party. Kids will also be able to sign a “Noon Year’s Re-‘Zoo’-Lutions” banner.

All activities are included with normal zoo admission, which is $17-$25. Save $2 per ticket when you buy admission online.

NYE Fun Bash - Jake’s Unlimited

Jake’s Unlimited is celebrating the New Year with 170 arcade and video games, bowling, laser tag, carnival games, bumper cars, and a carousel. There will be a cider toast and balloon drop at 6 p.m. and a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight.

While there is no admission cost, Jake’s is offering a few different packages (before 8 p.m.), which include access to a buffet and unlimited arcade games and rides. After 8 p.m., it is a la carte. Visit their website for specifics.

Glow All Out - Topgolf

People can swing-in the New Year with a glow-in-the-dark party at Topgolf in Gilbert, Glendale, and Scottsdale with four hours of Topgolf play, party favors, a buffet (VIP only), and a midnight fireworks show.

Reservations are required. Each bay can hold up to six people. A “general” reservation is $240-$270, depending on the location, and includes golf and party favors. Drinks, food are additional costs. VIP is $420-$450 and includes access to buffet, unlimited fountain drinks, a sparkling bottle of wine, party favors, and golf.

Golfland Sunsplash in Mesa will ring-in the New Year with unlimited video games, mini golf, bumper cars, laser tag, race cars, plus a DJ, dance floor, and a balloon drop at midnight.

Tickets are $23 online and $28 at the door. Food and drink are additional costs.

Happy Noon Year Celebration - Children’s Museum of Phoenix

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix will celebrate the “noon” year with apple cider, music, dancing, and a balloon drop.

Admission is $5 for members and $20 for non-members.

Family New Year’s Eve Party - Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort

The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort will have a family New Year’s Eve party with a dinner buffet, crafts, games, dancing, a photo booth, champagne toast, and a “mocktail” bar for the kids.

Uptown Alley in Surprise will have a kids-friendly New Year’s Eve party with bowling, laser tag, arcade games, pizza, soft drinks, and a 7 p.m. balloon drop.

At 7:30 p.m. the venue will have an adults-only NYE celebration with bowling, soft drinks, party favors, and a party platter.

Sharks vs. T. rex New Year’s Eve Celebration - Arizona Science Center

The Arizona Science Center will be open on New Year's Eve, including its latest exhibit, Victoria the T. Rex. There will be special sharks vs. dinosaur activities, plus a 2 p.m. balloon drop.

Medieval Times New Year's Eve Show

Medieval Times will have a special late-night New Year's Eve show at its Scottsdale-area castle with pre-show hors d'oeuvres, party favors, a four-course dinner, Champagne toast at midnight, balloon drop, a dj, dancing, and admission to the Museum of Torture.

Crescent Ballroom and The Van Buren will host a 21-and-up New Year’s Eve block party with musical performances, a 1970s disco with a drag queen show at midnight, a hip-hop nightclub, rock ’n’ roll, food trucks, drinks, and live art.

Stages will be setup along Second and Third avenues. Admission is $15. Food and drink are additional costs.

DJ Pauly D, of MTV's Jersey Shore fame, will perform at Westgate's inaugural New Year's Eve party. The event is co-hosted by a handful of restaurants and bars, including Fat Tuesday, Whiskey Rose, Salt Tacos y Tequila, The Lila, and McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon. There will also be a midnight countdown and a fireworks show.

The inaugural New Year's Eve RoRo Block Party Extravaganza will take place in an alleyway between the MonOrchid, the Cambria Hotel's rooftop bat, and at Josephine, a new restaurant opening near Third and Portland streets. It is being produced by True North Studio, which has developed several buildings in the area.
