Less than 24 hours after their performance at the Grammys, rock band Metallica announced they're going to embark on a North American tour (with mics properly plugged in, hopefully).
Don't worry, a stop in Phoenix is on the travel schedule!
The band's WorldWired 2017 North American Tour will visit the University of Phoenix Stadium on Friday, August 4. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.

Members of the Legacy Fan Club and Citi cardholders can purchase tickets beginning Feb. 14.
The tour will support the band's latest album, "Hardwire...To Self-Destruct," which was released in November.
Avenged Sevenfold and Gojira will open for Metallica at the Phoenix concert.
