For the last three months, Hendricks Gin has had an ambassador drive a quirky, cucumber-slicing contraption, known as the "Hendrick's Grand Garnisher," across the United States.

The 38-foot machine is scheduled to drive through the Valley Sept. 21-24 with a few stops at cocktail bars. A spokesperson said the vehicle will be seen on freeways and surface streets throughout the day.

According to the release, the vehicle can travel up to 25 miles per hour and slices 18 cucumbers an hour. People will be able to watch the machine cut cucumbers and take pictures with it.
