SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Great Wolf Lodge announced Friday that it would close all of its hotels and indoor water parks, including the one in Scottsdale, for two weeks because of the concerns surrounding the spread of COVID-19, also known as coronavirus.

The resorts will close at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 and will remain closed until April 2, the company said in a news release. Those who had booked stays during those times will receive full refunds, the release said.

"This is a challenging time, and we are very appreciative of the overwhelming support from all families who enjoy spending time together at our resorts. We look forward to welcoming families back to our resorts and creating more howling fun moments," the resort said in a statement.
