Free concerts this Fall in Phoenix: free concerts in Glendale, Goodyear, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe

When the weather cools down, it is the ideal time to get outside the house and enjoy what Arizona has to offer.

To some, that could be a hike, a bike ride or a walk. It could even be a free movie night in the park or a free concert.

A few communities around the Valley are hosting free concert series throughout the Fall to support local artists and provide an inexpensive (it's free) night out with entertainment. All you have to bring is yourself, a lawn chair or blanket and some snacks.

Below are a few of the free concerts happening around the Valley:

GILBERT - WATER TOWER PLAZA

Gilbert's concert series takes place at Water Tower Plaza, 45 W. Page Avenue, Gilbert AZ 85296. Each concert begins at 6:30 p.m. You can bring chairs, blankets and pack snacks to enjoy an evening of music. View details here.

PHOENIX - DESERT RIDGE MARKETPLACE

On Friday and Saturday nights throughout October, Desert Ridge Marketplace, 21001 N. Tatum Blvd., Phoenix AZ 85050, will have tribute bands playing on the District Stage. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.

This is a new concert series from Downtown Tempe Authority. Hayden Amphitheatre is located at 404 S. Mill Avenue, Tempe AZ 85281. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and music begins at 6 p.m.
