Flix Brewhouse, a combined microbrewery and dine-in movie theater, has plans underway to open a second location in the Valley.
Greg Johnson, director of sales and marketing for Flix Brewhouse, confirmed to ABC15 via email that the concept's next Arizona location will be in Peoria.
It will be part of a new 73,000-square-foot development near Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, or JLL, a real estate investment management company.
It's not clear when construction on Flix Brewhouse or the development will begin as the project is still being finalized, a spokesperson for JLL said.
No other tenants have been announced, but a spokesperson for JLL said they are "negotiating with a number of restaurants."
In February, it was announced that Flix Brewhouse would anchor a new entertainment development, called Overstreet, in downtown Chandler.
