Fall concerts around Phoenix: 50 free community concerts around the Valley this fall

You know it is "fall" in Arizona when the forecast shows temperatures start to dip toward the low 90s. That also means event season begins in the Valley and restaurant patios become the perfect spot for dinner.

As always, there are numerous festivals, shows, free movies and concerts coming to the Valley this fall. With this list, we've rounded up more than 50 free community concerts to listen to and enjoy the weather.

DESERT RIDGE MARKETPLACE - DISTRICT STAGE

Local and tribute bands will perform free concerts on Friday and Saturday nights at Desert Ridge Marketplace's District Stage. Concerts will start at 7 p.m. View full schedule.

  • Sept. 29 - Plan B (classic rock)
  • Sept. 30 - Nina Speaking (90s rock, classic rock)
  • Oct. 6 - Come Back Buddy (Buddy Holly tribute)
  • Oct. 7 - Rushified (Rush tribute)
  • Oct. 13 - Eric and the Dominoes (Eric Clapton tribute)
  • Oct. 14 - Back in the Saddle (Aerosmith tribute)
  • Oct. 20 - Wide Awake (U2 tribute)
  • Oct. 21 - Ratio (Motown tribute)
  • Oct. 27 - Ultimate Bon Jovi (Bon Jovi tribute)
  • Oct. 28 - Diamond and the Rough (Neil Diamond tribute)

DOWNTOWN GILBERT CONCERT SERIES

Local bands will perform free community concerts at Gilbert's Water Tower Plaza. The concerts start at 6:30 p.m. (except for Nov. 30) and will last two hours, according to the website. Chairs, blankets and snacks are welcome. Alcohol is not allowed.

  • Oct. 12 - 3Nations band
  • Oct. 26 - Sir Harrison band
  • Nov. 9 - August in Stereo
  • Nov. 30 - Amazing Pianos (concert to start at 6 p.m.)

 

PHOENIX PREMIUM OUTLETS WEEKLY CONCERT SERIES

The concerts will take place on Saturdays from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m within Arroyo Court.

SCOTTSDALE QUARTER AT 'THE QUAD'

Free community concerts will take place at Scottsdale Quarter on Saturdays from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

TEMPE MARKETPLACE - DISTRICT STAGE

Local bands and tribute bands will take the District Stage at Tempe Marketplace every Friday and Saturday night during the fall. Concerts go from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. The stage is located near Dave and Buster's. View the full schedule.
