Guy has traveled to the Grand Canyon state a few times. We decided to check out all the Arizona restaurants featured on "Triple D." But, what you may not know is that it's been in business in an unassuming strip mall for three decades. It's owned by Lynn Tso and her husband, Ray. Guy Fieri tried the Manapua, a barbecue-pork-filled bun, and the Kalbi, which are Korean-style short ribs. Guy Fieri tried the Nopalitos tacos and the carne asada plate. "The dish was so good Guy had to call his mother and tell her all about it," the restaurant's Food Network page describes. It is owned by chef Olashawn Hasadinratana-Weaver. One of the dishes that Guy Fieri tried was the Dragon Eggs. Weaver opened a second concept called Little Thaiger off Thomas. Cheryl and Roger Wagner launched the business in 1979, according to their website. Guy Fieri and his Triple D team visited them in 2007. The restaurant has opened a second location in Silverton, Colorado. Guy tried the BBQ, Cheryl's cole slaw and the simple chili. Three Pitts Again is located at 5558 W. Yes, in fact, those are gas tanks. On the outside, it's a gas station. It has breakfast tacos and grits, soups and salads, sandwiches and burgers. For the BBQ lover, it has ribs, brisket and comfort sides. Guy tried the half-stack, and the pigs and grits. In its heyday (the 1920s), it was a produce district near downtown's train depot. Today, owners Steve and Andi have resurrected the past and brought it into the present. It is owned by chef John Conley. Salsa Brava's menu features quesadillas, combo plates, chili con queso, and nachos, among other Mexican dishes. It is located at 2220 E. It is owned by Sal and Grace. It is owned by Pauline Martinez and Carmen Martinez. When "Triple D" visited, Matt's was located in a small (very small) building near First Street and Filmore. Matt has since moved to a bigger location a block up the road, at First and Garfield streets. It was given the "Triple D" treatment in 2013. When Guy visited, two of the dishes he tried were the Tandoori chicken tikka and the Goat Karahi. According to its website, the original eatery was 1,000-square feet and had seating for 16. It has since expanded and can now seat 150.
