GILBERT, AZ — For those wondering when Culinary Dropout at the Yard will open in downtown Gilbert, mark April 3 on the calendar.
The restaurant, part of Sam Fox's restaurant conglomerate Fox Restaurant Concepts is nearing completion at Gilbert Road and Hearne Way.
The 25,000-square-foot building will have indoor and outdoor seating, two private dining rooms, and an outdoor entertainment area (the "Yard") with backyard-style games, such as ping-pong and cornhole. Fox announced the location in December 2016.
It will be the concept's fourth location in the Valley. The others are in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. There are three other locations in Tucson, Las Vegas, and Austin, Texas.
The Gilbert location is looking to fill 190 positions including waitstaff, bartenders, managers, dishwashers, kitchen staff and security. Hiring fairs will be held March 4-9 and 11-16 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the restaurant. You can also apply online, here.
