PHOENIX — Tower of Power, 311, The Beach Boys, and Aaron Lewis & Sully Erna will each host a live drive-in concert at the Arizona Fairgrounds in October or November.

The concerts are part of the "Concerts In Your Car" series and will be performed "in the round" on a 360-degree stage in the parking lot of the fairgrounds, according to the website. The event is being produced by CBF Productions.

Brianda Martinez, a marketing assistant for Arizona State Fairgrounds, confirmed the event was happening at the fairgrounds, but said it was a third-party rental.

Here is the concert schedule:

  • Oct. 16 - Tower of Power, 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 17 - Third Eye Blind, 8:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 23 - Sublime with Roma, 8:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 25 - The Beach Boys, 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 30 - Aaron Lewis & Sully Erna, 8:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 13 - 311, 5:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $99-$109 per vehicle and are good for the number of people that each vehicle has seatbelts, the website states. The concert sound will be transmitted through the vehicle's radio.

CBF Production will also screen a handful of movies -- a mix of horror and family-friend -- in a drive-in-style format.

Here is the movie lineup:

  • Oct. 14 - Ghostbusters, 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 20 - Scream, 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 21 - The Sandlot, 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 28 - The Blair Witch Project, 7 p.m.

Movie tickets are $19 per vehicle.

Restrooms will be available on-site and people will be asked to wear masks if they leave their vehicle, the website states.

Parking is first come, first served. Buses, limos, and RVs are not allowed.

Events are also planned in San Diego and Ventura, California.
