CHANDLER, AZ - Plans to open Equal Parts, a "rustic northern Italian" eatery in downtown Chandler have been scrapped for a different concept.
Restaurateur Julian Wright, the founder of Pedal Haus Brewery in Tempe, confirmed to ABC15 in a statement released through his public relations agency that Equal Parts would no longer fill the space formerly occupied by Vintage 95, but that he still has plans to open a restaurant in that space.
According to his statement, the new concept will be called Las Palmas Cantina.
He did not elaborate and said additional details would be released later this year.
Vintage 95 Wine Lounge closed in April. It was housed in one of Chandler's historic buildings and featured an outdoor patio with fire pits.
