Another expansion for Bobby Q's barbecue is on the menu.

The Phoenix-based barbecue restaurant will open another location -- its third -- over the summer within the Biltmore Plaza near 32nd Street and Camelback Road.

It will take over the space formerly occupied by Mexx 32, a Mexican restaurant launched by Valley restaurateur Lenny Rosenberg.

Bobby Q's announced the news on its Facebook page on April Fools' Day of all days. Just in case you think you might be being bamboozled, Bobby Q's PR team and Mexx 32 both confirmed the news.

"This is NOT an April Fool's joke folks, and you're not dreaming either - Bobby Q's is coming to 32nd Street and Camelback soon!" the post read. Right now, the restaurant is slated to open in August.

At the same time, Rosenberg announced Mexx32's closure.

Rosenberg said in a release that the sale of Mexx32 will allow him to focus on his other concept, Delux, which is located within the same plaza. He said he may develop the menu further, potentially even expand the concept.

Last year, Bobby Q's founder and restaurateur Bob Sikora opened a second location in Mesa, more than a decade after the original opened in 2005. The original is near 27th Avenue and Butler Drive and still operating.
