PHOENIX — The Arizona State Fair has extended its drive-thru food fair for an additional two weeks.

The event, which features 11 food vendors selling some of the most popular fair foods, will remain open through next weekend, Thursday - Sunday, Oct. 15-18, 2020, as well as the following weekend, Oct. 22-25.

One note: the fair will be closed on Oct. 24, according to Brianda Martinez, the marketing assistant at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.

The hours will remain the same. The food fair will be open Thursday and Friday, noon to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

There is no entry fee. The entrance is at 19th Avenue and Monte Vista Road.

Recently, the fairgrounds added two vendors to the lineup: Turkey Leg Express and Corn Shack, offering turkey legs and corn on the cob.

Other fair favorites that people can purchase: pizza, kettle corn, deep-fried Oreo, cookie dough, and cheesecake, funnel cakes, churros, hot dogs, corn dogs, and cookies.
