The producers of Chicago's Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits music festivals have announced their plans to bring a three-day music festival to Arizona during Spring Training.

The "Innings Festival" will be March 23-25, 2018 at Tempe Beach Park, according to a news release, and will have more than 30 artists performing on three stages.

It will have culinary demonstrations, food vendors, family-friendly activities and appearances from professional baseball players, the release said.

"Innings Festival is the can't-miss celebration for music lovers and passionate baseball fans..." organizers said in the release.

Details on who would be performing at the festival, when tickets go on sale or how much they will be, were not released, but a spokesperson said it should be announced in a couple weeks.

City of Tempe spokeswoman Melissa Quillard confirmed to ABC15 that the city's special events team was working with organizers of the festival.

The announcement comes less than two weeks until Phoenix hosts the Lost Lake Festival, a three-day music, food and art festival from Superfly, the team behind Bonnaroo and Outside Lands.

Chance the Rapper, The Roots, The Killers, and Major Lazer are set to headline Lost Lake.
