2020 Oscars nominations: How to watch the announcement live

Award season is officially underway in Hollywood and on Monday morning, Jan. 13, the world will find out which movies, actors, and directors have been nominated for an Academy Award.

Actor John Cho and Issa Rae, producer of HBO's "A Black Lady Sketch Show," will announce the nominees.

Set those alarms! Similar to last year, the nominations will be announced in two parts: the first starts at 6:18 a.m. (8:18 a.m. EDT), followed by a short break, and then the second set of nominees will be announced at 6:30 a.m. (8:30 a.m.).
