The Easter Bunny has a busy schedule coming up, with egg hunts and festivals around the Valley!

El Mirage Easter Eggstravaganza (March 24) **Free
Gateway Park, 10100 N El Mirage Rd, El Mirage, AZ 85335

The City of El Mirage will hold its annual Easter festival on Saturday, March 24 at Gateway Park. From 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., there will be free pictures with Hoppy the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, egg coloring, bounce houses, face painting, and a petting zoo. The egg hunts will start at 9:45 a.m., and will be scheduled every half hour by age group, up to 11 years old. More information.

 

Fountain Hills Eggstravaganza (March 24) **Free
15900 E Golden Eagle Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268

More than 15,000 eggs will be spread out across three fields, each specified for a specific age group, at Golden Eagle Park in Fountain Hills. The egg hunt is open to kids seven and younger. There will also be bounce houses, games and crafts from local church groups. The event starts at 8 a.m., and the egg hunt begins at 9 a.m. More information.

 

Spring into Queen Creek (March 24) **Mostly free
Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S Hawes Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142

Queen Creek's spring festival will be Saturday, March 24, at Desert Mountain Park. There will be egg hunts, a "color splash" zone, live music, and kids activities. While most events are free, including the egg hunts, some of the games will have a fee. Egg hunts are scheduled between 9:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Free parking is available at Queen Creek library and a shuttle will take people to the park. More information.

 

Buckeye Spring Celebration (March 24) **Mostly free
Sundance Park, 22865 Lower Buckeye Road., Buckeye, Arizona 85326

Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will make an appearance at Buckeye's Spring Celebration on March 24. There will also be face painting, bounce houses, train rides, ponies, and Easter egg hunts. Each hunt is divided into age groups and start at 9:30 a.m. According to the flier, some activities will require a fee. More information.

 

The Shops at Norterra "Hop & Shop" Festival (March 24) **Free
2460 W. Happy Valley Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85085

The shopping center in north Phoenix will once again host its "Hop and Shop" event from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 24. Kids can register to participate in an Easter egg scavenger hunt (11 a.m.) and collect eggs from different stores. The Easter bunny will be there for free photos, along with a petting zoo, face painting, and kids crafts. More information.

 

RJ's Egg Hunt (March 24) **Free

The Salvation Army's Kroc Center - Phoenix South Mountain will host its third annual community Easter egg hunt, billed as the largest hunt in South Phoenix, on Saturday, March 24. It is free and open to the community. There will also be arts and crafts. The event runs 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. More information.

 

Downtown Mesa's Tiny Tots Egg Hunt (March 29) **Free
Main Street between Country Club and Center

Downtown Mesa's Tiny Tots Egg Hunt is geared toward children eight and younger. From 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, more than a dozen businesses along Main Street will pass out eggs. The Easter Bunny will be at the Downtown Mesa mural near La Salon for free photos. More information.

 

Dino Egg Hunt at Arizona Museum of Natural History (March 30) **Not free

Kids will be able to venture around the Arizona Museum of Natural History in search of Easter eggs filled with prizes. There will also be dinosaur-themed games and crafts, as well as reptiles from the Arizona Herpetological Association. General admission is $5 for kids and $9 for adults. The event runs 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. It is free for members. More information.

 

The Art of Ice Cream Experience Instagrammable Egg Hunt (March 30) **Not free

You're going to want to make sure your cell phone is charged. The Art of Ice Cream Experience, an art pop-up in Scottsdale with interactive ice cream-themed rooms, will have hidden Easter eggs inside its exhibit, along with ice cream treats. There will be two egg hunts -- one for kids five and younger, and one for kids six and older. The cost is $10 for kids and $20 for adults. More information.

 

Chandler's Family Easter Celebration (March 31) **Mostly free

Chandler's annual Easter event will take place at Snedigar Sportsplex from 9 a.m. - noon on Saturday, March 31. Easter eggs will be scattered across four fields, each designated into age groups, for kids nine and younger. The egg hunts are free and start at 10:30 a.m. There will also be bounce houses, an obstacle course, a slide, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Rides are $1 - $5 each, or you can buy an unlimited wristband for $9. Easter Bunny photos are $2 each, cash only. More information.

 

Bass Pro Shops (March 31) **Free

Kids will be able to hunt for eggs at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa on March 31. Registration starts at 1:30 p.m. in the front of the store and the hour-long hunt will start at 2 p.m. According to the website, kids will be limited to five eggs. Between March 24-31, Bass Pro will have free pictures with the Easter Bunny and a themed craft. View schedule.

Cabela's, which merged with Bass Pro Shops, will also have free photos with the Easter Bunny, March 24-April 1, at its Glendale store. Details here

 

42nd Memorial Dolly Sanchez Easter Egg Hunt (March 31) **Mostly free
16101 N 83rd Ave, Peoria, AZ 85302

Peoria's annual Easter celebration and the hunt is Saturday, March 31 at Peoria Sports Complex. There will be nine hunts between 8:20 a.m. - 11 a.m. Admission and parking are free with canned goods to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank and the Westside Food Bank Alliance. Other activities such as pony rides, bounce houses, crafts and food will have a cost. Activities run 8 a.m. - noon. More information.

 

Surprise Spring Eggstravaganza (March 31) **Mostly free
15850 N. Bullard Ave. Surprise AZ, 85374

Bring the Easter basket and head to Surprise Stadium, 15850 N. Bullard Avenue, on Saturday, March 31, for its annual Spring Eggstravaganza. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be there, as well as inflatables, face painters and clowns. Egg hunts are divided into six age groups and are scheduled between 8:20 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. Admission is free, though some of the activities may have a fee. More information.

 

The Wigwam Easter Egg Stravaganza (March 31) **Free
300 East Wigwam Blvd., Litchfield Park, Arizona 85340

The Wigwam will host its Easter "Egg Stravaganza" on Saturday, March 31. The event is free and open to the public. From 9 a.m. to noon there will be Easter egg roll races, an egg hunt, train rides and live entertainment. More information. They will also have a breakfast buffet with the Easter Bunny that morning for $15-$25 per person.

 

Vertuccio Farms Easter Egg-Sperience (March 31) **Not Free

Vertuccio Farms will have three egg hunts on Saturday, March 31. Admission to the farm is $11 per child, one to 16 years old. They will also have the petting zoo open, train rides and pictures with the Easter Bunny from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The farm said the event has sold out in the past and once it does, tickets will not be sold at the gate. Schnepf Farms 22nd annual Easter Egg-Citement (March 31) **Not free

The family-owned farm in Queen Creek will host its annual Easter celebration with an egg hunt, cookie decorating, rides, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are $20-$25 per child, depending on if you want lunch included. Admission also includes a wristband for unlimited rides. The cost for parents is $3 or $10, which includes a wristband for rides. More information.

 

Hotel Valley Ho (April 1) **Free

The Scottsdale hotel will have a free Easter egg hunt for guests and the community on Sunday, April 1. The hunt starts promptly at 9 a.m. on the ZuZu patio. Make sure to bring your own basket. Mountain Shadows will host a free Easter egg hunt for guests and the community on its great lawn at 9 a.m. Make sure to bring your a basket! For the adults, mimosas, and Bloody Marys will be available. Hearth '61 will also have brunch from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. The cost is $19 for children and $68 for adults. Enchanted Island Amusement Park Easter Egg Hunt (March 31 & April 1) **Free
1202 W. Encanto Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85007

Enchanted Island's annual Easter egg hunt will take place on March 31 and April 1. The Phoenix amusement park will have 10 age-specific hunts between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Kids need to be accompanied by an adult and should arrive early to register. Make sure to bring your own Easter basket. Admission is free. There is a cost for rides and games. More information.

 

Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium, & Safari Park (March 31 & April 1) **Not free

The Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park will have two egg hunts on March 31 and April 1. Both hunts are included in regular zoo admission, which is $20-$40 per person. The hunt at 1:30 p.m. will be for children seven and younger. The second hunt will be at 3:30 p.m. for everyone else. In March, the zoo welcomed two Mountain Lion cubs. "Bunnyland" at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess (April 1) **Open to resort and brunch guests only

The Scottsdale resort is hosting an Alice in Wonderland-themed Easter brunch and activities for kids on Easter, including Easter egg hunts, cornhole, train rides, and visits from Alice, Queen of Hearts, The Mad Hatter and the Easter Bunny. The Scottsdale resort will have a bunch of events, including brunch and egg hunts, on Easter, April 1. The egg hunts will happen at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and are only open to resort guests and those who purchase brunch at Talavera and Proof. Other activities include Easter-themed crafts, bounce house, egg decorating, face painting, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Talavera Brunch is $48 or $100 per person.
