Fall break is right around the corner, creating the perfect time head to SoCal for beautiful weather with a chance of Mickey. With little ones in tow, a trip to the happiest place on earth can easily become overwhelming. To get the most out of your next Disney adventure, AAA’s Disney experts are revealing six  theme park tips and tricks for families.

Park Amenities for Infants and Toddlers
Located at all four parks, Baby Care Centers provide essential amenities for parents with infants and toddlers. The fully-staffed and complimentary facilities include a private nursing room with rocking chairs, changing room with tables, feeding area with highchairs and kitchen with microwave and sink. Another helpful feature, a  one-stop shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications and pacifiers for purchase.

Pack a Snack…or Two
Guests are permitted to bring a variety of food items, (snacks, water, sandwiches, etc.) into Disneyland® and Disney California Adventure ™. While there aren’t many restrictions on bringing food into the park, there are a few on how you carry it in (i.e. no full size coolers). For storage of these items throughout the day, guests may consider renting a locker at the park.

Best Place to Stay
There are several perks—especially for families—to staying at one of the Disneyland® Resort hotels. Enjoy the convenience of a private entrance into Disney California Adventure ™ and Extra Magic Hours, which allows early admission to both parks. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of having purchases from select Disney shops delivered to their guest room and Disney character wake-up calls.

Don’t Miss a Memory
Disney’s PhotoPass+ option allows park guests to get all photos taken by Disney’s PhotoPass photographers, select attraction photos and dining photos. Guests can view all their photos online and order a CD that contains high resolution photos which can be used to print photos at any photo processing center. This package costs $99.95 when purchased at the resort or $69.95 when purchased online at least 14 days prior to arrival.

Maximize the Magic
Plan ahead to get the most out of any Disneyland® trip. Map out age and height appropriate rides, take full advantage of the FastPass system to bypass lines, find the best place to watch parades, fireworks and make reservations for character meals all before you arrive.

AAA Park Perks
AAA members who book packages to a Disneyland®  resort will save money, receive special and exclusive promotions and enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences that make for a magical experience, including a AAA Vacations® Diamond Savings Card, which offers savings and values of 10-20 percent at many dining and merchandise locations, free parking at Mickey and Friends parking structure, preferred seating at some of the most popular shows and attractions, Magic Morning Entry to the park before it opens to the general public.
