TEMPE — Two people were injured during a wrong-way hit-and-run crash on the Loop 101 early Thursday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred in the area of Loop 101 and University Drive just after midnight. The wrong-way vehicle was reportedly traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of traffic when the crash occurred.
Two victims were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Officials did not give details on the wrong-way vehicle description.
