PHOENIX — Phoenix Children's Hospital was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon while police searched for a wanted suspect.
Phoenix Children's Hospital is located at 20th Street and Thomas Road.
Phoenix police say they searched the hospital's parking garage and were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody.
The hospital was placed on lockdown during the incident, but it does not appear the suspect ever entered the hospital.
It's unclear what crime the suspect was wanted for. His identity has not been released.
