PHOENIX – ABC15 and CW61, in partnership with St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP), Bashas’ and Food City, are hosting a summer water drive to help the less fortunate and encouraging our community to donate.

- All Bashas’ and Food City locations throughout the state of Arizona will be accepting monetary donations at the register June 1 – 14 and water donations on Tuesday, June 2.
- All six St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores. Store hours and addresses are listed and mapped below.

Throughout the day on Tuesday June 2, ABC15 will broadcast live from Food City at 35th Avenue and Glendale in Phoenix, and Bashas’ at Warner and McClintock in Tempe.
ABC15 and CW61 will host a phone bank on Thursday, June 11 to give viewers an additional way to help our community. SVdP volunteers will be taking donations in local shows throughout the day and the message of need will be delivered on all ABC15 platforms.
The Scripps Howard Foundation through The Scripps Family Impact Fund will grant up to $12,000 to be matched during the Water Drive phone bank. The Scripps Howard Foundation is the community arm of The E.W. Scripps Company which is the parent company of ABC15 and CW61.
“Summer can be a tough time for so many,” said Shannon Clancy, SVdP associate executive director, “With the community still reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic, this summer can be one of the most challenging that many of us can remember. However, the one thing we know about our community is that we help each other during times of need. With compassion and generosity, we’ll carry each other through these challenging times."
