Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies say they are no longer consider the death of a man found dead in Sun City as a suspicious death.

A neighbor discovered 55-year-old Jack Overton in a red car near Bell Road and NRH Johnson Boulevard.

Two hours later, the Sheriff's Office SWAT team worked a barricade situation nearby.

They say 56-year-old David Hague barricaded himself inside his mother's home and he's been arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for disorderly conduct.

Authorities say Hague will not be charged in Overton's death. Officials say Hague allowed Overton access to his home for food and to shower because Overton was homeless and living in his car.

Neighbors say there were tense moments as deputies arrived at the scene with SWAT gear and shut down an entire block.

“The lieutenant came up to me,” neighbor Gordy Monten said. “He was asking about the condos and whether you could get through the attics, and I said, ‘Well, my wife is still there should she leave?’ and he says, ‘Yes.’”
