An Arizona man accused of shooting and killing another man and then transporting his body in a U-Haul truck to California told police he shot him because he suspected he was having an affair with his wife.

In new court documents obtained by ABC15, 24-year-oldAndres Serrato admitted to police to shooting 31-year-old Joshua Luck twice inside his Phoenix apartment.

Serrato said he suspected something was going on between Luck and his wife.

Luck was found dead days later inside the U-Haul in California.

Police said Luck and Serrato were neighbors and got into an argument on Nov. 26 near 19th Avenue and Roeser. The next day, the two made up and Serrato asked Luck to help him move to California.

According to documents, Serrato's wife told police that as she was packing up the apartment she heard gunshots and saw her husband holding a gun and standing over Luck.

She also admitted to helping clean up the scene and load Luck's body into the U-Haul.

On. Nov. 28, Serratos was arrested in Modesto, Calif. on domestic violence and weapons charges. On Nov. 29, a missing person's report for Luck was filed.

Phoenix police said they will charge Serratos in Arizona and then will start the process to extradite him from California.

The California Medical Examiner confirmed that Luck died from those gunshot wounds, according to documents.

The investigation is on-going and police have not yet recommended any charges against Serratos' wife.
